STUDIA Print Group offers high quality products thanks to a team of professionals in the field and to the technical equipment that we have.

We print and edit (ISBN) and to enter the circuit of the Romanian National Library any book should be submitted to the National Library Book Fund in a number of 7 copies. To be included the book needs ISBN, CIP and also a barcode. This gives our customers the guarantee of the accuracy of editing.

We have the capability to manage all the necessary operations to achieve the work, starting from graphic design, desktop publishing and scanning, printing up to completion, regardless of complexity.

EDITING

Presentation of works at the publishing house must be on paper together with the electronic format of the book. The work will be checked by an editor and then will be given an ISBN.

CIP – is obtained from the National Library of Romania after filling and sending out a form and the average duration for receiving the response is 10 working days.

After receiving the chip from the National Library of Romania paper will be printed. Of circulation established, 5-9 copies will be submitted to the Legal Deposit National Library Card, a copy will be sent to the Metropolitan Library of Bucharest and 2-3 copies remain to the publisher for the Book Fund, the costs being supported by the author.

Box containing a description of the National Library of Romania’s CIP will be reproduced with the original on the back of the title page of that book.

STUDIA Print Group offers a wide range of services, graphic design-printing-finishing:

-Editing book: editing, layout, scanning documents and photos, insert photos or graphics pages with color covers (cardboard 200 g-m), 4 colors layout, bonding and stitching or stapling.

Scaning documents or photos that require the introduction of the paper is followed, if appropriate, by touches for a quality print. Book covers can be done in 4 color – full color on glossy or matte cardboard, depending on customer preferences.

Graphic Design – consists of graphic design , image processing, vector processing, typesetting text, text editing, layout, ready to print. Some printers provide these services and include them in the final price of the printed product, others charged separately per hour of labor or work. For demanding work is shown working with professional designers.

Finishing – finishing services offered by printing operations consist of punching (cutting the sheet of paper of a product  with any outline) creasing (mechanical deformation of support surface for lighter folding), folding (folding sheets of special print), lamination (coating on one side or both sides with a layer of plastic),  UV or offset varnishing (applying a  varnish for protection or aspect), embossing (mechanical distortion to bring in relief some design elements) , broaching (sticking together the cover to the block book gathered in advance), stapling, series, spiraling, sewing.
